Haven't updated you all in ages...

So, went to Scotland. Rabbits didn't do that good in the show, but thats to be expected. Iggys retired now, & Juniper was in moult (still is!!). Got much shopping done, which was sorely needed. Got an autumn coloured beanie hat!! & there was a GIANT craft fair.

Saw Copics, which were more expensive than the Brit version, Promarkers. What are your opinions on these guys? I got some, they're okay, i wish they had thinner points BUT Then I got home... Our local art store now has Copics, for even cheaper than Promarkers, though they're still expensive... I'll still try 'em out

On the thoughts of new art supplies, for my bday (18th November), I asked for various knick knacks from the parentals ^.^ I FINALLY GOT PRISMACOLORS!!!!!! I'm about to try them out properly, but my first impression is that they snap their lead a lot, & the tones aren't as subtle as Polychromos... I got myself some blenders, in th raw woodless form too for them, & I'll try 'em out with the Polys as well I also got a soapstone carving kit!!! So I can finish my seal AT LAST. & a large block of soapstone.

SO CLOSE TO PARAMORE NOW!!!

Oh, & I finished up my room (A many month-ed project ).I have wallpaper on the walls, so I can't ut art up, so I nailed in some corkboards, & covered them with my own art, commissions, tickets & posters for movies/plays ect, pictures of Bands,ect..... & flower fairy lights I'll upload pics soon.

Oh, on my bday I went into Adrianna, owner of Antaraes, the best shop for spirtual healing, crystals, insense, books ect, who I'm friends with, & sher gave me a Rainbow Moonstone ring (My fav crystal!!), a nd an awesome book to help me with teh manic depression :hugs:


Heres a holiday wishlist I got off of
STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Here I go

1) Same as always. More than anything, either a pet wolf, Samoyed (or other nordic dog) or a fennc fox. One thats friends with me not just everyone. One that I can be with when I can't take anyone else, who knows when I'm down. & just listens to what I say, every word without needing to understand any of it, but knowing all it has to do is listen , & know when to put up with me when I hug too hard...

2) A Smoke Pearl Polish buck, to breed with my doe. Actually, nearly any coloured would do. I need something to get smokes out of her, they're such a rare colour, & noone in Britain is concentrating on them at all. They'll disappear soon I them, I'd give so much to be able to save them, they have such charisma Wonderful, beautiful rabbits...

3) A camera. Not so much a digital type one. The kind where you have to change the lens, the type they use in the National Geographic... Canons ... I'd love, love, love to get into photgraphy. AS in real photography, not just scene kids with fingers on their lips

4) Someway of making my writing better, its so messy. You can get books on that I think I just would love my own unique styleof hand writing.. Oh, & one of those fountain pens that you use to suck up the ink from bottles, not a dip one & not a cartridge.. I think its a converter??

5) Bones, feathers, skins, small taxidermy, claws, fangs, crystals & gemstones, cacti, shed reptile skin, & so on... I love these natural things Oh, & dried insects!!! Espescially moths! But they'd have to be ethically gathered ones.. Nothing killed for the purpose of the product, or anything that suports hunting in ANY form. But I seriously lover these things. I finally brought most of the cat in! Skull, jawbones, pelvis, and claws...

6) New reading material. I'm soooo out. If you have old stuff lying around... please? I like stuff like The Welkin Weasels, Frostdancers, Fire Bringer, Harry Potter, The Sight, The Virgin Suicides, Speak, White Fang, Watership Down, ect... But stuff I have in mind, is Johnny The Homicidal Maniac (a comic), Wolf's Rain (the graphic novels ), The Lovely Bones, ...

7) A subscription!! I've never had one, & lordy I'd love it!!

8) Giftart,I love all traditional, sculptures, paintings, sketches, carvings, & so on. Or supplies, I'm in need.... But giftart could be of anything, though hares, rabbits, wolves, nordic breed dogs, mice, rats, manatees, foxes, magpies, &aviator hats are my fav things

9) Burnt CDs!! I need to get into more music A mixed CD of some of your fav songs would be perfect!!! I'd love to broaden my viw on music, & it helps me with my art so much.

10) Knick knacks. Odds & ends. Scraps of material, art supplies, old National Geographics, buttons, beads, posters of bands, photo frames (a love of mine), magnets, safty pins, badges, ribbons, stamps, photos, candles, insense, bells, ... Use yourcreativity, I'll turn it into art
